Details

Edgar sees the rarity and silhouette of every White, Green and Blue collectible at the start. The board fills from the top with no gaps, so the empty slots left after those three are exactly where the purples, golds and reds sit.

1R — check board size and high-value ones. See random identities from the whole board with Collectible (Large) on 5. If reds or golds show, add their value straight to the board value, and if the remaining empty slots extend wide down to the bottom of the board, it's a big board. 2+ reds and wide empty slots --> defend at 1M or more / 1 --> 500–700k / 0 --> 500–700k if the empty slots are wide, 200–400k if narrow.

2R — red detection / all-in decision. Rarity devices pick only from collectibles whose color you don't know, so when Edgar uses one it lands only on purples, golds and reds (in the Pearl Hall, each pick lands on a gold or red about 70% of the time and on a red about 20%). 4+ reds --> go all-in at 1.5M or more / 2+ --> defend at 1M or more.

3R — branch. If there are reds, see red shapes with Size (Large) on 10 (it picks only from purples, golds and reds whose silhouette you don't know). If golds look plentiful, the Gold total first — it gives the board's gold price sum as is, so add it to the board value without the Combo Finder. On an all-in board with many reds, keep 3R high and push the device to 4R.

4R — fill in the rest of the board value with whichever you didn't use in 3R (the Gold total or Size (Large)). Hardly ever use the 2-slot average — use it only to check for the Data Vault (5.12M) when a red 2×1 silhouette shows (a 2-slot average above 280k means a Data Vault on the board), and if another player has already used the 2-slot average, read it from that player's next bid and skip it.

5R — conditional commit. Board value = Gold total + the reds you confirmed + reds whose value is fixed by shape. Bid the top price within that.
