Reading the board — identifying collectibles from silhouettes and colors
Narrow down collectibles from silhouette size and color alone: candidates per shape, how much a known color cuts, and what the Current Estimate means.
How the board is laid out
The storehouse is 10 slots wide × 25 slots tall, and collectibles come in only 18 sizes.
- The storehouse board is 10 slots wide × 25 slots tall (250 slots). It doesn't fit on one screen, so you scroll down to see the rest.
- Collectibles are placed from the top and never rotated; there are no empty gaps inside, and only the bottom edge is ragged.
- There are 18 collectible sizes (width × height). From most to least common:
- 1×1: 54 · 1×2: 33 · 2×1: 29 · 2×2: 27 · 2×3: 16 · 1×3: 13
- 3×2: 9 · 3×3: 8 · 3×1: 6 · 4×4: 5 · 5×5: 4 · 4×3: 4
- 1×4: 3 · 4×1: 3 · 4×5: 2 · 1×5: 2 · 2×4: 1 · 5×1: 1
Auction Practice UICollectibles the shape alone identifies
Rare shapes narrow down the identity on their own — only one collectible is 5×1.
- Only one collectible is 5×1: Radiant Scepter (288,888). The shape alone confirms it.
Radiant Scepter288,888 - 2×4 is also a single collectible (Lustrous Jade). 4×5 has two, Giovanni's Gilded Statue (271,827) and Flatbread (202,798); 1×5 has two, Your Fitness Buddy! and Cloudcutter.

Cloudcutter18,288 - 5×5 has four — Pendragon Model (20,171,210), Little Oink Bank (500,001), Orrery (51,077) and Definitely-Fished-This-Myself Fish (9,952). A 5×5 makes the Pendragon Model possible, but one of the other three is far more likely.

Once the color is known
Knowing the color cuts the candidates sharply, but a Red 1×1 is not necessarily the Eternal Heart.
- How many candidates remain with only the silhouette, and with the color too, is listed under "Same-silhouette candidates" on each collectible's page in the Collectibles Index.
- With 54 collectibles at 1×1, the shape alone tells you almost nothing.
- Even Red 1×1 has four — Eternal Heart (1,314,520), "Geometric" Decor (61,803), Chaotic Core (61,740) and Teardrop (50,000). The other three are worth 50,000–61,803, so the Eternal Heart is worth over 20 times as much.

Current Estimate
The "Current Estimate" is the lowest possible valuation given what has been revealed, so the real value is always at least that.
- In the game it sits right above the auction board (10×25) in orange text. Just glance up while you read the board.
In-game- Using only what has been revealed, it adds up the cheapest candidate each collectible could be. Silhouette only: the cheapest candidate of that shape in any color. Silhouette and color: the cheapest of that shape and color. A single colored slot: the cheapest of that color.
- So it goes up as more information comes in. Auction Practice's Current Estimate is calculated the same way.
